Jordie has been coaching for over 10 years.

Originally classically trained, she completed her Bachelor of Music at Newcastle Conservatorium of Music in 2011, majoring in Contemporary Voice and Creative Production.

Jordie strives to build true confidence within her students through her uniquely developed teaching styles, incorporating both technique and song-based learning.

She has an infectious positive energy and is passionate about vocal health and mindfulness.

Her students consistently achieve amazing results; involved with StarStruck and ASPIRE each year, as Featured Vocalists + Backing Vocalists and choir members as well as countless Musical Theatre Productions through various local schools, Metropolitan Players, Young People's Theatre and Hunter Drama.

Jordie has maintained a Band 6 (+90%) average for all students studying the HSC.

In her spare time, Jordie manages and performs in Echo Duet and VOGUE, ​entertaining at Weddings and Functions across Newcastle + The Hunter Valley.

Songwriting and Music Production Tutor

Patrick has been teaching Guitar for well over 10 years, originally starting by teaching students while in High School.Following Tertiary Studies in Jazz Guitar and Composition at the Australian Institute of Music in Sydney, "Pat" made his way back to Newcastle and began working as a tutor at the National Music Academy. He taught a full student load – as well as managing the Maitland Campus, and co-ordinating fortnightly performances and yearly showcases.

Patrick is an accomplished performer, bringing our Director Jordie into his successful Function & Weddings outfit VOGUE, playing numerous times a week in various ensembles and bands across the Hunter Valley.

After putting his 'Music Nerd' status to the test as a marketing and sales director at music retailer – Muso's Corner, Pat is joining InnerVoice full-time, heading the new InnerVoice+ department, which handles: Guitar, Songwriting and Production, Piano, and Music Theory Lessons.

With a keen ear for Melody and Harmony, Pat spends a lot of his time over-analysing Music composition, and researching Music Technology. In his spare time he writes music at the InnerVoice Production Suite.


Emily Coles

Emily creates a fun, judgement free zone, building confidence and nurturing students' passion for music. Emily completed her Bachelor of Music at Newcastle Conservatorium of Music in 2021 and is currently finishing her second Major in Psychology. She is passionate about the positive effects of singing mentally and emotionally, as well as on our cognitive function and social skills. She has honed her vocal and performance skills in both group and individual settings across a wide range of genres. Also an accomplished songwriter and pianist, she makes song-based learning within InnerVoice Programs a focus, as well as tutoring in these areas. Emily has a keen interest in vocal health and personally understands the importance of vocal training and caring for your instrument.

Hannah Coles

Vocal Coach

Hannah is passionate about a holistic approach to singing lessons, where students not only learn and build upon their vocal talents and abilities, but also strengthen their mental outlook and sense of self-belief.

She likes to focus on technique-based learning within InnerVoice Vocal programs as this approach has helped her personally.

"Understanding technique, and conquering our mental battles allows us to build and maintain the confidence to become an amazing singer and performer".

Hannah has a wealth of experience as a vocalist and performer in both individual and group settings. She ranked in the top 90% of NSW for HSC Music 1 and enjoyed seven years as part of the The Waratah Girls Choir.

Hannah specialises in supporting the K-12 School Curriculum and takes pride in providing an uplifting, enjoyable environment for her students.


Mia Haggerty

Vocal Coach

Mia is a naturally gifted vocalist and coach. Giving her students the time and space to hone their skills and develop their confidence as vocalists. having trained for 13 years in vocals before beginning her journey as a mentor and coach; Mia's teaching style is heavily based on her own experiences as student. "I pride myself on making anyone feel comfortable, no matter the age or skill level". Having had a strong mentor and coach in her youth, she knows the key to success is being able to trust your vocal coach in the process. Mia's accolades speak for themselves, from one on one mentoring from Kasey Chambers and acceptance into the Australian institute of Country Music, she's a star on the rise with a wealth of knowledge to pass on her to students. Mia is proficient in teaching a range of vocal styles and genres and prides herself on getting results for her students.


Chloe Gill

Chloe is a dynamic, hard working, and supremely talented vocalist. She has graced most stages in and around Newcastle, but her experience as a performer is impressive, from centre stage at Qudos bank arena, to featured performances in Startstruck, Sydney School Spectacular, and the prestigious TDP (talent development project). "I love to work with passionate students to help bring out their versatility as a performer and artist."

Chloe's talents are equally matched on her second instrument – Piano. Where she focuses on helping students learn to self accompany, as well as understanding correct hand technique and music theory. Her journey as a musician and artist is impressive for her age, she brings this experience into her lessons where she can encourage students to achieve their goals with a full understanding of the requirements. Her Vocal knowledge and ability is substantial, allowing her to teach a range of technical vocal styles including Jazz, Pop, Folk, and RnB.


Anna Varnum

Anna is a special talent here at InnerVoice. Starting her journey with us as an over-achieving student under Jordann, she quickly established herself as a powerhouse vocalist with strong knowledge of vocal technique and show-stopping vocal tone. "I'm a technical singer, good technique is so important for a healthy voice." "Technique based learning allows students to achieve their personal goals and master their instrument. This is what I aim to do". 

Having studied vocals in Melbourne before returning to her native Newcastle, Anna is well versed in a large range of styles and genres: from Classical, to Pop, including a strong understanding of RnB vocals. She focuses on vocal health which is incredibly important for vocalists wishing to perform with; and maintain their vocals. Anna's advantage as a coach is having come through the ranks as a student herself; she understands the journey that a vocal student has to complete, and she knows the framework of the vocal program here at InnerVoice exceedingly well.
